Main Street Corridor

Main Street Corridor is a very small area when it comes to regions in Vancouver.  It is also one of the most up and coming areas.  It stretches from 18th Ave on the North side to 49th Ave on the South side and Ontario St. to the West and Prince Edward St. to the East.  With new developments popping up along Main Street we are seeing some newer townhomes being built.  The access from here to Hillcrest Community Centre and Riley Park is making the area very attractive to families.  As values go up I also expect to see single family homes turning into duplexes.  We are already starting to see some land assembly for townhome communities.  Eastpark by Boffo Developments is one example.

The shops on this area of Main Street are very hip, with new boutique clothing stores, organic coffee shops and fresh pressed juice stores popping up each year.  It will only become more central as business continue to move into the area and all of your shopping needs are quickly being covered on Main Street.  This area remains less expensive than the West Side of Vancouver, yet it is very accessible and we are seeing this as a great area for young professionals to move.  Three Bedroom Townhomes along the corridor are generally in the 700K + range.
